To study thermomechanical
properties of powderlike polymers without their preliminary monolithization, original
experimental approach and new laboratory equipment were worked out. This technique makes
possible continuos testing of deformability of polymer powders during their prysical
transitions from glassy to rubbery state and to viscous flow ( for amorphous polymers )
and during their phase transition from crystalline solid state to melt. ( Russian Polymer
